Abstract
Nanoscale structures and materials have been explored in many biological applications because their extraordinary novel properties. Here we propose a study of cellular interactions with barium titanate nanoparticles, an interesting ceramic material that has received a lot of interest in the nanotechnology research, but without any attention about its biological potential. We introduce an efficient method for the preparation of stable aqueous dispersions of barium titanate nanoparticles and present a systematic study of short-term cytotoxicity on human cells.File in questo prodotto:
